In conjunction with Center-funded exhibition Frankenstein & Dracula: Gothic Monsters, Modern Science, The Rosenbach of the Free Library of Philadelphia presents a panel discussion featuring historian of science Stephanie A. Dick, literature scholar Mark Greenberg, and biologist John D. Gearhart, moderated by bioethicist Jonathan D. Moreno. The panel will explore the lasting impact of Shelley’s work and the profound effect it has had on how we structure our understanding of the ethical and social implications of biotechnology.
