In conjunction with its Center-supported project Colored People Time: Mundane Futures, Quotidian Pasts, and Banal Presents, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) presents a sound and performance art piece by SCRAAATCH. The Philadelphia-based duo will perform what it describes as its “Dadaist and Afro-pessimist impulses” in a site-specific electronic composition titled Tower of Babel, featuring projections, movement, and sound sculptures.
The performance is free with registration.
