The Print Center presents A Brand New End: Survival and Its Pictures, a photo-based exhibition of new work by visual artist Carmen Winant.

The exhibition juxtaposes archival images, newspaper clippings, and 35mm slides Winant compiled during a two-year exploration of the archives of Women in Transition (WIT), a Philadelphia-based organization that empowers people to move forward in their lives free of domestic violence and substance abuse.

Winant collages these materials to consider the history of the feminist movement and tell the story of how organizations like WIT have and continue to support women in achieving personal agency.
