Boris Charmatz: Levée des conflits Community Workshops
A series of community dance workshops will be held as part of Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design's Center-funded project Boris Charmatz: Levée des conflits, which brings acclaimed French choreographer and experimental dancer Boris Charmatz to Philadelphia for a residency. During the interactive movement workshops, participants will learn several of the 25 gestures that comprise Charmatz's signature work Levée des conflits. Held outdoors, the workshops will give participating dancers an immersive experience of the method, movement, and structure of Charmatz' innovative choreography.
