"Body Against Body" post-show performance conversation
21 Feb 2013
22:00:00 - 23:00:00
22:00:00 - 23:00:00
Painted Bride Art Center
The Painted Bride Art Center presents a piece of living dance history as Bill T. Jones revives his avant-garde roots. The pieces in Body Against Body address themes of race and sexual orientation in small-scale duets. Both conceptually and physically rigorous, the dances take on new life through the diverse dancers of Jones’s company.
Join the conversation and share your thoughts after the performance with Janet Wong and Brenda Dixon Gottschild, Professor Emerita of Dance Studies, Temple University.
