Pew Fellow and theater artist Thaddeus Phillips brings his family-friendly, visual theater work A Billion Nights On Earth to the Brooklyn Academy of Music as part of the 2017 Next Wave Festival. Created in collaboration with visual artist Steven Dufala and composer Juan Gabriel Turbay, the work blends performance art, pop-up storybook design techniques, and a cinematic score and is anchored by a series of bold visual installations, ranging from a 15-foot inflatable whale, to floating tents and an electric train. A Billion Nights on Earth premiered during the 2017 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
