24 May 2015
7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
AUX PERFORMANCE SPACE, VOX POPULI, 319 N. 11TH STREET, 3RD FLOOR, PHILADELPHIA

For the seventh event in the seven-part series organized by AUX's fifth Curatorial Fellow, Katya Grokhovsky, AUX presents an open roundtable, focusing on the persistent issues of distrust and dismissal of women's abilities, feelings, and opinions. The discussion will be moderated by Katya Grokhovsky, founder of the Feminist Urgent project. Other participants are still to be announced.

Katya Grokhovsky is a New York-based artist, curator, and organizer, invested in the exploration of multidisciplinary and multimedia practices that cross generations, genders, and geography. She holds an MFA in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a BFA from Victorian College of the Arts (Australia), and a BA in Fashion from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia).

The AUX Curatorial Fellowships, run by Vox Populi Gallery, have been supported by a grant from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.
